Quick checklist for everyone transferring from Fidelity to Computershare:
- Shares transferred via DRS from IBKR, Schwab, or Fidelity arrive automatically as Pure Book entry.
- If you also bought directly through DSPP (Plan), terminating the plan and selling the tiny fractional leaves 100% whole shares in Pure Book.
- Pure Book shares cannot be held at the DTC nominee for 'operational efficiency'.
Every single Book share is one less locate for Wall Street's synthetic short machine.
Checked my account status: Book entry, zero fractionals, dividend reinvestment off. Clean as a whistle.
