Friendly reminder before Friday close:
>buying weekly far-OTM options: market maker collects your cash premium, hedges delta with synthetic internal shares, and pins max pain by Friday 3:59 PM
>buying spot $$GME on Interactive Brokers (IBKR) (routed via IEX) and transferring to Computershare Book: never expires, zero theta decay, permanently removes 300 shares from the DTCC pool
Don't donate weekly premiums to the very Citadel/Virtu desks you're trading against.

Learned this lesson years ago. Spot shares in DRS Book have infinite time value and zero theta decay.
Plus when you own real shares in Schwab/IBKR/Computershare, Friday afternoon pins don't stress you at all.
